Wynne Carter

Born 1944 in Shrewsbury, Wynne studied at Queens College Dundee in 1963, before a career at the university, which saw him make Dundee his long term home.

Wynne demonstrates a natural artistic talent highlighted by beautifully observed drawing and sensitive paint handling, with focus on the harmonies, contrasts and textures of natural and manmade structures and shapes, the vistas of Dundee and The River Tay have provided regular inspiration.
