Scott MacDonald

Now based on the Isle of Arran, Scott MacDonald is a multi-talented artist with focus on land and streetscapes as well as photography. Originally hailing from South Glasgow the artist pulls references from both his time in the city as well as his current home on the isles.

After a career in the creative industries as a colour re-toucher, his passion for music and art soon became his focus. His musical venturers found him playing in pubs and venues across Scotland has taken him to many picturesque locations, many of which muses for his paintings.

“To me my paintings are about the spirit in the light that chink of positivity amongst the cloud the searching for something. I have always felt an immense pull to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland”

His works are now held in collections across the UK and globally.
