Nikki Monaghan

Nikki is a professional artist who works from her home studio in Falkirk, Central Scotland. She studied at the Scottish College of Textiles where she gained a BA (Hons) in Printed Textile Design.

Painting Scotland’s villages, cities, and even the occasional red deer, Nikki’s palette ranges from bright and bold to soft and subdued, allowing colour to flow naturally. Her artworks are built up through layers of paint, inks, charcoals and pastels, creating depth and texture. Using both photographs and memories, Nikki brings scenes to life with a mix of observation and imagination.

“People often tell me that my work takes them back to a place, a time, or a memory—and that’s exactly what I hope to give the viewer: a sense of connection and a magical moment when they look at my paintings.”

Nikki’s work is featured in galleries, publications and private collections worldwide.
