Born in Glasgow in 1959, Lesley attended Exeter College of Art achieving a BA (hons) in painting. She now lives in the Scottish borders, where the landscape and light is beautiful and varied.

Inspiration for Lesley’s contemporary paintings comes from the Scottish countryside, “My paintings reflect the fascination I have with the natural world, mostly that which surrounds me in my immediate environment”.
