Since graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, in 1990, Jonathan has developed a considerable reputation as a painter of the Scottish landscape.
Remaining faithful to traditional realist ideals, his depictions of the Angus landscape convey a strong sense of place and his deep rooted relationship with his home countryside, which has seen his work favourably compared to that of James McIntosh Patrick.
Jonathan’s work is included in corporate and private collections in the UK, Hong Kong, USA, Canada and Malta.
