Charlie Parsons

Scottish artist Charlie Parsons, born in the village of Achmore among the beautiful hills and lochs of northwest Scotland, which has had a consistently strong influence on his work over the years. Paint was always been the chosen medium among ink, charcoal and graphite, but while studying at Duncan of Jordanstone his interest also led him to digital illustration.

Now, almost a decade after graduation, the return to oils and stretched canvas comes with a bold new approach to colour and composition applied to the familiar setting of the Scottish landscape. Charlie Parsons works out of his studio in Carnoustie, on the east coast of Scotland.

His works are now held in collections across the UK.
