During May we have the distinct privilege of hosting dual exhibitions featuring new works by Margaret Evans and George Noakes, both of whom have long associations with our gallery and each renowned for their powerful interpretations of the Scottish landscape.
Margaret Evans was born in Glasgow and graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1974, before obtaining a teaching qualification from London University. She is a popular and respected art tutor, widely renowned for her pastel work.
She lives in rural Perthshire, and her work has featured in numerous art magazines, books and instruction videos on pastel drawing. Margaret has exhibited with Eduardo Alessandro Studios throughout her career, and with a number of prominent galleries in the UK.
