Spring 2024 | Mixed Exhibition

In keeping with tradition here at EAS, we are delighted to be opening our Spring exhibition for 2024, showcasing extraordinary works from some of Scotland’s leading artists. Encapsulating new and innovative works alongside some firm EAS favourites, this is a line-up that boasts some incredible talent across the board.

Florals abound here for spring, including Robert Pereira Hind’s photographs, distinctively printed on gold leaf. With subjects ranging from thistles and wildflowers to cherry blossom trees- the true herald of the season- there is flora enough for everyone. Also featured are works from Deborah Phillips and Emma S. Davis, which overflow with floral favourites from daisies and poppies, sunflowers, and peonies.

Those looking for the Scottish landscapes that are synonymous with EAS will find examples of quintessential spring scenes from artists such as Rosanne Barr, Sheila Fowler, and Stuart Buchanan. Capturing a season that is so changeable is no mean feat- there are plenty of sunny scenes, but it wouldn’t be Scotland without a couple of April showers too!
