Peter Blake was born in 1932 and is one of the giants of the Pop Art movement at its height in the 1960s and is still greatly influential in the contemporary art world today. Most famous for creating the iconic album cover for The Beatles – Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1967, Blake was knighted in 2002 for his services to the visual artist.
24 Nights is a live album by Eric Clapton released in 1991 a milestone recording, it highlights the record run of 24 consecutive nights in which Clapton performed at the Royal Albert Hall. This collaboration between Sir Peter Blake and Eric Clapton came about by Blake’s love of Clapton’s music and this rare print is highly prized by both music and art collectors.
