Rozanne Bell was born in Zimbabwe in 1962, where she lived until the age of 40. She exhibited her work all over Southern Africa and, through tourism, an American market for her work evolved, and she now enjoys a strong international following.
In 2002, the political climate in Zimbabwe led to Rozanne’s move to England. Adapting to a new environment, coupled with her determination to succeed, she is now one of the most popular artists in the UK.
Roz is entirely self taught having had no formal art training. She has developed a distinctive painting style, and is renowned for her freely painted florals and playful subjects, which often incorporate 3-dimensional ‘collage’.
