Iain Faulkner was born in Glasgow in 1973, graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 1996 with a BA(Honours) Degree in Fine Art.
The subject of numerous sell out solo shows in the UK, USA, France, Switzerland, Spain and Italy, Faulkner is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most collectable figurative artists. His work appears in many private and corporate collections and in 2010 he was commissioned to paint portraits of each of the victorious European Ryder Cup Team.
Famed for his depictions of a lone protagonist, dressed uniformly in white shirt, black suit trousers and leather shoes, Faulkner’s compositions utilise the self portrait to convey moments of reflection, pre-occupation or self-absorption. Implying a sense of a nomadic existence, his settings seem remote and solitary. With face obscured or turned away, we see this figure as an everyman, a player both familiar and universal.

We are delighted to offer an outstanding selection of Iain’s work, including new releases and rare artist’s proofs. Please contact us if you have interest in other titles not on show.
